I dont know if I quite buy into the whole "cloud computing" thing yet. Maybe Google can pull it off, but I think that there are alot of open source OSes out there which I would rather be running on. But I could be swayed...

For a netbook, but only for a netbook, this might work. But, immediately, one wonders - what about someone who shoots raw pictures in the field, wants to edit them, then upload them to Flickr (or another service)? You really can't handle many workflows solely on 'the cloud.'
Also, what happens when the Internet connection goes down, or you have a really weak/slow connection (as I do on a very consistent basis)? These things cause cloud computing to be a secondary way of living.
