What do you think about disabling captcha for registered users? It's not a bad implementation as is, but it slow's me down a bit...especially when I fatfinger it.

That sounds like a good

That sounds like a good idea... I forgot I had it enabled for everyone! (Since I'm 'uid 1', I'm kinda like the overlord of the website and have ultimate cosmic powers here ;-).

I've always had a hard time

I've always had a hard time with captcha. It took two tries to sign up here just now. I've always left forms open until the garbage gets to be a problem then use a human detector script. The main problem with them is when they require both upper and lower case. I couldn't tell the difference between and upper case X and C so I failed the first attempt. When a customer is contacting a business through a form I'd leave it wide open till there was a problem. In the case of the online community website maybe it's warranted? Were you getting spammed?

Disabled Some Captchas

@ matthew-west: I've disabled Captchas on everything except user-to-user contact forms and the user registration form... Three of my other sites had tons of spam issues, so I'm leery of not using it (especially on comment forms). However, with moderated anonymous comments, it's not as big a deal.

We'll see how it goes!
