Website Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities
Building your website should be, in essence, no different than building a physical space for your parishioners and constituents to enter. When building a physical space, you must follow certain guidelines for accessibilities, offering wider aisles for wheelchair access, elevators and/or ramps, and other special needs implementations.
When building a website, you should work no less towards inviting and welcoming all of God's people—no matter what kind of disability they might have.
This section of the Wiki will introduce you to some aspects of website accessibility and usability that you...

The Importance of Accessibility on the Web
An issue which is often in the back of my mind, but often not even on the radar of a lot of Catholic web developers (I know this from experience) is online accessibility. Many new/remodeled Catholic Churches have hundreds of new technologies in place to help those with disabilities—wheelchair ramps, wider aisles, larger bathrooms, elevators... and many of these innovations cost a pretty penny.

Sharing Parish Directory Information Online
I just recently got around to a task I've been wanting to complete for quite some time: I have set up a (very rough, so far) feed on archstl.org listing ALL the parishes, and including their GeoRSS location data.

- ...and many others
Not to mention, hundreds of diocesan websites, parish...

How to Build a Drupal Module - for Beginners
At a recent St. Louis area Drupal meetup (details here), I presented a quick session on how to build a drupal module, geared towards beginning Drupal developers (I don't consider myself too advanced, but I have found that my experiences can often help others).
I have attached to this post the custom module (a .zip) file that I included for examples in the presentation, and I also uploaded the slideshow (quick and easy - just 12 slides!) to slideshare. I've embedded the slideshow below:

Create a Podcast, Quick n' Easy, using Drupal with Views + FileField
After having created a few different podcasts on different Drupal sites for different purposes, using a variety of methods, I can speak with a little authority on which methods are the best, easiest, etc. There is an Audio module, and an iTunes module, which help with more advanced podcasting needs... but most people just want a podcast which will allow visitors to either listen while on the website, or to be able to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes or another media player.
If your needs are relatively simple, it's...
