  • Tridentine Mass?

What are your views on the Tridentine mass?  If you don't like it, then what are your views on the coming changes to the Novus Ordo mass?  I am not talking about the people invovled.  Obviously many people who love the Tridentine mass are a bit too far opposed to the real Catholic Church because they deny that the Novus Ordo is in fact a mass.

  • Seems a little funky (social networks description)

Maybe it should include 4marks, since that is a Catholic social network along with facebook and twitter and whatever else it says.  I mean, we are Catholic here.  Of course, I don't use 4marks very often, I found it not quite matched up to facebook.  I was working on my own, but I don't know if I ever will finish it.  :P  But still, we are Catholic and need to have a push on the Catholic stuff too.

     Hey Jeff,

How often does your site feed update? I subscribed this afternoon in Google Reader and nothing since then has shown up, but there's alot of new content.

Does the feed include all forum posts as well?

Also...is it possible to get an email update when an article/forum post I've commented on get's another comment?

  • PDF Archive Solution

     Howdy,

I'm working on a project trying to 'webify' a bunch of past newspaper issues that are in PDF format. Now, there are some pretty big $$$ solutions out there...but we're willing to go a bit lo-fi.

For online reading, I've come across issuu.com which is a great solution...but that's for going forward. I need to upload issues back to 2001. To make matters worse, this publisher created a separate .pdf document for each page of each issue when they sent it to the printer...that's what I've got to work...

  • Open Source Catholic Theme Released to Drupal.org

What is open source without people who freely give of their time to make open source projects better? It's no source at all!

In the spirit of good stewardship and Christian charity, the code/files in the Open Source Catholic website's theme was released today (around 1 a.m.!) on drupal.org as "Airy Blue," a 'contrib' theme. This allows anyone browsing Drupal's directory of themes to download it and use it on his own site!

We encourage everyone to think about how many benefits they derive from open source projects...

  • Css Buttons

I am actually new to css (it's easy) but I ran across problems building buttons.  Currently they are simple buttons instead of pictures, I would like to use my buttons though.  After trying severel different things I finally found out I need to put both the lit up button and un-lit button on the same picture, then tell the script to call a certain point on the picture.  Am I correct or am I wasting my time?  How do you guys line up your buttons on the same picture and easily know how to point...
