Pope Benedict Tweets the Launch of News.va
Pope Benedict XVI tweeted the launch of News.va, the new news website from the Vatican.
The site takes a while to load from my iPhone's data connection, but I don't know if that's because (a) the site isn't using a US-based CDN (looks like I'm connecting to Amazon Web Services' western-EU servers), or (b) my iPhone has a 1.5 Mbps connection...
Here's a link to the Pope's (first?) tweet »
Also, it looks like they're using Silverlight or Flash for some content. But at least most of the content is...

New 'Mobile Apps' Section added to Wiki
Just a little site update: I've added a new 'Mobile Apps' section to the Open Source Catholic Wiki. Anybody can pop in there and update the list of mobile apps in different categories. I've been meaning to do this for some time, but only had the hour or so to compile this listing tonight.

Google Maps Question
I am looking for resources/plug-ins to create a kind of Frappr Map. What would be really great would be if I could set it up some how that you need a special password to allow an individual to place a pin on the map. This is for the "One Voice, One Church (5 Journals Project)" I'd like to be able to track where the journals are traveling to. So, there would be instructions and a password on the inside cover that would allow someone to place a pin on the...

Some Drupal Help ... Views / Pathauto / Organic Groups
I am pretty new, but have used this form a number of times. I was wondering if anyone here can help.
I am trying to create a hackable URL in Drupal 6. I can do it as described here: http://www.masteringdrupal.com/screencast/hackable-urls-drupal-using-pathauto-and-views

domain.com/blog/catechetics-and-education/4/2011/6/another-post-title
domain.com/blog/GROUPNAME/UID/YEAR/MONTH/TITLE
I just can't get views to figure out the group name. I have tried a number of argument tactics, but none of them will pick up the GID or...
